THE SETTING

The Quaives

19 acres of private grounds - secret gardens, wildflower walkways and a quiet pond shaded by mature trees. Space to wander, sit, and simply breathe.

To celebrate the end of summer, come home to yourself. A half day of movement, stillness, nourishment and deep rest - set among 19 acres of living grounds, with a fresh water stream, secret gardens and the golden light of late summer.

THE ARC OF THE AFTERNOON

What unfolds

Arrivals & Welcome Drink

Settle in. Be received. Begin to arrive.

Yin Yang Yoga

Held in the secret garden. We begin with yang — active, flowing movement to build warmth and energy — before slowing into yin: long-held, supported postures that settle the body and nervous system, the perfect preparation for the sound bath that follows.

Multi-Instrumental Sound Bath

An immersive sound journey in the open grounds (weather permitting), with Himalayan singing bowls, gongs and a range of other instruments. You'll lie back, get comfortable, and be guided into deep rest — the kind that settles the nervous system and leaves you feeling reset, clear and deeply relaxed.

Homemade Nutritious Snacks & Refreshments

Gather in the Saloon for homemade snacks and refreshments, made by Ellie — who draws on her training at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Ayurveda Institute to create food that genuinely nourishes. Time to sit, chat and refuel.

Explore & Wild Swim

The rest of the afternoon is yours. Wander the 19 acres of grounds — secret gardens, meadow and winding paths — or walk through the field to Wickhambreaux weir for a wild swim or dip in the fresh water stream.

SUITABLE FOR ALL

Every session is accessible to all levels of practitioner - whether this is your first retreat or your fiftieth. Come exactly as you are.
