How does it work?

As your Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Nutrition consultant, my primary aim is to earn your trust so we can collaboratively address your health concerns. Our first session will last about two hours, providing us with the opportunity to understand each other better and create a personalised plan for you. During this time, we'll discuss various aspects of your life, including your diet, lifestyle, relationships, and physical and emotional well-being, all in a relaxed environment.

My role is to help identify the underlying causes of your discomfort and explore ways to address them. Together, we’ll  develop a plan that may involve lifestyle and dietary adjustments, natural remedies, and emotional support. I will offer guidance on simple, nutritious meals and home remedies, and support you as you take charge of your health and move beyond feeling unwell & unbalanced.

How do I prepare for my initial consultation?

In Ayurveda, all diseases stem from an imbalance in your dosha or constitution. During your initial consultation, my main focus is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable so I can understand the real you, allowing for open and honest communication. We will spend 60 to 90 minutes discussing various aspects of your life.

Be ready to answer questions about all areas of your life, which will help me identify the root causes of the imbalance, rather than just addressing the symptoms. I will use various diagnostic methods, including observation and a comprehensive personal and medical history. We will explore your diet, work life, relationships, mental health, and exercise habits.

After gathering this information, I will identify potential causes of imbalance in your mind or body and create a personalized treatment plan. This plan will take a few hours to compile and will include dietary advice, lifestyle recommendations, and Ayurvedic herbal products. We will then have a 45-minute follow-up session to agree on an approach that works for you. In this second session, I will help you understand the causes of your discomfort and how you can take control of your health to resolve your symptoms. Most importantly, just be yourself.
